Hey friends, I’m excited to be here today to share some of my tips for refreshing the home and bringing the crisp fall feels into your home whether you get fall weather or turn of leaves where you are, or like me it spring and summer year round. Every season I love to venture over to our local Old Time Pottery. They always have a huge selection of every thing you need for your home whether it is everyday or seasonal. They also have options for all types of decor styles and colors.

My mission on this trip was to get a few items to decorate or front porch and entry, then add some neutral fall floral stems to vases or containers I have in the kitchen on the island and dining table then also on the mantle. I love neutrals and dried look floral and leaves for this time of year. The texture and boho vibes go perfectly with my everyday decor to keep it from getting to cluttered or overwhelming.

As mentioned above I always love to decorate the front porch since it’s seen my neighbors and guests, then of course for the family. This year I picked up a new neutral wreath with a little pop of fall  orange brown tones but also the cream as well.  I also grabbed a mat for under the fall mat, a new solar lantern for the porch to add some ambient lighting, welcome fall sign I can use into Halloween and Thanksgiving, a small bail of hay to stack the different shapes, sizes and colors of pumpkins I picked out then finished it off with a cute fall neutral pillow for the rocking chair.  You can add so many fun touches from lanterns, candles with timers, pumpkins, scarecrows, garden stack and so on for your porch in the color or theme you love. Old Time Pottery has aisles of fall themed decor and accents that mixed with everyday pieces can make for the perfect affordable pop of decor to get you into the spirit of the upcoming season.

Next up I wanted an affordable way to add neutral or dried floral stems to go with my boho everyday theme to add that fall touch inside our home. A affordable and easy way to do this is using fall floral bunches or stems from Old Time Pottery. I have faux topiaries and plants I have purchased from the store I use inside or outside that have lasted me years. I love using floral bunches and stems cause I can cut them and make my own arrangements using vases or containers I already own, or I found in store. I shop at Old Time Pottery often so I have many items I have had that I reuse and then picked up a couple faux pumpkins I cut the tops off to make into a vase for floral stems and arrangements as well as a black pottery style container I used in the kitchen.

It’s amazing what changing up your floral arrangements can do to change up your decor for the seasons. I used brown, light orange and tan leaves, some dried style pampas grass stems and an arrangement  that had cream, orange and tan flowers mixed together. I cut them into individual pieces to style into arrangements. Most I can just place into the vase or container some of the containers or vases with larger openings I use styrofoam for keeping the arrangement in place.

You can also use the faux pumpkins to stack and make into topiary style arrangements, or you can use the stems or picks they sell with a flower, pine cone and other seasonal pieces to add a pop of fall to a basket or vase that already has stems you like or wood like I had in my basket in my entryway.

I hope this helps inspire you to add fall touches slowly around your home. This will guaranteed help get you into the spirit wherever you live, and also bring that fall ambience to your friends family and neighbors. I will be also changing up decor for the rest of the year for the upcoming holidays and seasons. Make sure you head over to the closest Old Time Pottery to check out the huge selection of seasonal and everyday decor items. I always like to share a link to the store locator on my blog and in my posts on social for anyone who may not know where their closest store is.

Have a wonderful fall season, if you are where the leaves change break out your sweaters and scarves for me.
